Frankfurt am Main is Germany's fifth largest city with a population of around 770,000 (as of 2022) and the largest city in Hesse. The city is the center of the Rhine-Main metropolitan region, which has a population of around 5.8 million.
With the headquarters of the ECB, Deutsche Bundesbank, Deutsche Börse AG, the largest German banks – such as Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, KfW – and numerous foreign banks, Frankfurt is considered one of the most important financial centers worldwide.
Due to its central location, the airport as Germany's largest airport and the fourth largest airport in Europe, the main station with the second highest passenger volume in Germany - and the dense motorway network with several motorway junctions in the direct surrounding area, Frankfurt is one of the most important transport hubs in Europe.
With the third largest exhibition center in the world after surface area, Frankfurt also gained international status as a trade fair location. In addition, the city is increasingly establishing itself as a location for data centers, not least due to the early use of fiber optic networks.
The Frankfurt location was opened in 2007 and has since created around 18,600 real estate experts, with a market value of around €75 billion for a wide variety of clients. Its activities include the entire federal state of Hesse, parts of Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, lower Franconia and Saarland. The Frankfurt assessment team consists of 7 employees (6 experts and 1 assistants), 3 specialists (Sales Manager, Research, IT) and has grown steadily since the opening of the Frankfurt office. The site is also supported by 16 regional and national cooperation expert offices.
The main areas of assessment are residential (ETW, EFH, MFH) and commercial (residential and commercial buildings, offices, retail stores, etc.) for credit institutions as well as developers, project developers, funds, insurance companies and family offices. Due to the regional circumstances, special expertise has developed in the evaluation of high-priced residential properties such as villas and luxury apartments at the Frankfurt location. Some of our experts have special experience in the evaluation of operating properties (hotels, nursing homes, shopping centers etc.) and high-price residential high-rise buildings.
We are active in both individual and portfolio evaluation. However, we do not only prepare expert reports, but also value indications, residual value analyzes for projects or developers' opinions, site and property assessments.
